Tug on the knob and it will slide right off.

Locate the hole underneath the doorknob shaft.
Push the tip of a narrow screwdriver into the hole.
You can usually twist or pry it off with a flathead screwdriver to expose the screws.
Use a philips head screwdriver to unscrew them.

If you don t see a notch and the cover plate is round try turning the plate counterclockwise to remove it.
If not rotate the faceplate until the underlying screws are accessible and use a phillips head screwdriver to remove them.
Some styles of door knob will have another thin slot that requires a small screwdriver to free the cover from the door.
The door handle will now slide off.
You should see a tiny slot or hole.
Turn each screw holding the knob body.

Pull the rose cover off the knob body.
On power windows remove the three door handle screws with a screwdriver and pry out the control switch and unplug it.
Insert the edge of your screwdriver under the plates and pry them up gently until they pop off then remove them and set them aside.
Look for these fasteners along the base of the lever then use an allen wrench that fits snugly into the head of the fastener.
